In a joined effort, Brightwork, and Fabiton developed the innovative EcoBlue filter. Together they now launch this new product.

Continuous sand filtration with high capacity

The EcoBlue filter is based on the well-known continuous sand filtration principle. In recent years, there has been a growing demand worldwide for compact and modular (waste)water treatment solutions. The EcoBlue filter is the answer to this need, since it is entirely comprised of prefab components which can be quickly assembled into a working system on site. By combining multiple filter cells into one unit, it is possible to create a high throughput of up to 500 m3/h.

Sand-Cycle

Moreover, the EcoBlue filter is compatible with the Sand-Cycle remote monitoring & control tool. This tool, developed by Brightwork, is based on RFID technology and enables remote monitoring and control to optimize the filter performance, and thus reducing operational costs. Various applications are possible: nutrient removal in wastewater treatment, surface water treatment and process water reuse.
