Waste water influent fractionation analysis useful for analysing finescreen plants performances

Brightwork monitors the performance of full scale finescreen plants at WwTW Beemster and Aarle Rixtel in the Netherlands. Remarkable differences in removal efficiencies of suspended solids at the two plants led to the development of a fractionating analysis, which is now commercially offered by Brightwork.
The influent analysis reveals the particle size distribution and simulteneously the concentration of both suspended solids and cellulose per fraction. The cellulose analysis is based upon the RUG method, which is developed as part of the research program “Cellulose Assisted Dewatering of Sludge (CADoS)” at WwTW Ulrum, the Netherlands.
